The TransRockies Challenge V - The journey begins

4 days and counting until the Trans Rockies Challenge in Alberta and British Columbia. We are Team Tuckermen - Edmund Therrien and Martin Kovacs are the racers. I am Joe St.Peter, support, wrench, and scribe. The TransRockies begin August 6, 2006. Ed and I are packing in Maine tonight for the big race. Marty is on his way from Texas. The bikes reached Calgary before us, Ed shipped them last week by truck.
This is the account of our trip - I hope you enjoy what follows.
