2 dollars for twelve minutes
A bit of a setback to the blog. Our room does not have an internet connection of any kind. I am blogging from a pay kiosk in the lobby of the Griz Inn in Fernie BC. This terminal does not have a USB port (or any other port that I can find).
The bad news is that we cannot upload photos from this site - although Ed is negotiating with the staff to use their personal connections (more on that later).
We had a great trip - over 6.5 hours of actual flight time Northwest from NH to Detroit to Minneapolis to Calgay. We had an awesome journey from Calagary to Fernie - arriving at 8:30 EST (6:30 here). Ed got to drive a new Dodge 4 door pick-up truck and has declared that he is going to purchase one at Percy's the moment he returns to PI.
Of local interest - Ed and I got to see "the World's Largest Truck" in Sparwood BC. It was an awesome sight. We will post the photos when we get that particular capability.
Ed and I figure that we gained two hours of sleep - we don't plan on wasting in so a stop to the Griz pub seems in order.
Keep your comments coming - and know that we are doing everything we can to share our adventure online.
It was nice to hear from our fans - just remember that at the moment team Tuckermen is tied with the winners of last years race, "Team Race Face". Pretty cool stuff.
We plan on riding in the morning - this place has a trail system and ATB park. More to come...

Hey fellas. Glad to hear things are going well so far. Sorry to hear about the bad net connection. Tia and I are looking to seeing any and all photos you can take. Hope all is well and make sure to stay hydrated (with water, not beer). See ya and most of all have fun.
